Virtual tours can be quite engaging and educational or they can be complete flops, depending on how you make them. If you want to make a successful tour or a high-quality panorama, then Pano2VR is exactly what you need. The smart tools it places at your disposal can help you create a stunning tour, with built-in audio and videos and many other elements that catch the attention of anyone watching. Even if your original pictures didn't come out as good as you wanted, you will still be able to create something amazing with this piece of software.

You can try out Pano2VR for free and experiment with all its features without encountering any major restrictions. The software's setup package is a bit large, so you will have to wait a bit if you don't have a good Internet connection. The installation process is straightforward, and you don't have to meet any special requirements, though it would be best if you run the software on modern hardware.

Pano2VR lets you work with all sorts of panoramas. You can start with a blank project, and build a panorama by importing pictures or you could import 360-degree panoramas, spherical panoramas or other panorama types. Once it's loaded, you can pan in any direction by clicking and dragging directly in the preview area, where you will also find a series of handy tools, which you can use to remove unwanted elements from the image, like an accidentally captured tripod, or patch the lines between pictures to make the panorama seamless.

Besides making visual repairs and adjustments, the software lets you add special effects like lens flares, as well as other interesting elements. For example, you can import audio files if you need a soundtrack, but the best part is that Pano2VR will make the audio seem like it's coming from a specific direction in the panorama. This gives you the possibility of adding sound effects to individual elements in your panorama, like engine sounds for cars. You can also add pictures and videos within your panorama, with custom playback controls.

Animations can be created without any effort. You can bring up a timeline editor in the lower part of the user interface, just like in a video editor, where you can set start and end angles, adjust speeds and so on. There are numerous features to discover when working with this program. From seamless panoramas and transitions between projections to VR integration, there is a lot you can do.

Regardless of how you intend to present your panoramas, you will be able to do a much better job with the smart functionality that Pano2VR places at your disposal.

Pros

You can work with any panorama types. The software lets you create projections and add special effects. You can even open your Pano2VR projects in VR.

Cons

You will need a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the user interface.
